There was also in attendance (along with it's equally sensational owners) the most exquisite Bellett Donkey has ever met....... He just goes on and on about Bam Bam all the time, even taking to himself while plucky the petals off flowers and starring dreamily at the sunset
Must be a car thing

There was somewhat of a surprise car there in the morning too....... have forgotten the owners name but he had his cracker Bellett Sport there (I for one never knew anything about this car)
Then there were all the others that I can never walk past without drooling on.......
Run out of time for any more today so I will try again at work tomorrow if I get some spare time

I can't remember his name but he used to own a Jap import business, he also has a GT and a 117 (+ a Mazda 110s Cosmo, a Mazda/Holden Road Pacer, RPU ute and about 50+ other very collectible cars)

I met Sancho for the first time too. Gary met him at a Datsun meeting a few months earlier, and he didn't know there was an Isuzu club, or even any other Belletts about. He just bought them because he liked the look of them. He is a tall bloke and thought the Belletts might be too cramped, but found the Sport to be comfortable, and now they are favourites to drive.

And the front of the Sport. We were pretty excited to see this one, the only ones we thought were in the country are the ones Glenn brought in. Good that its a different model.

From memory it has a G180ss. Sounded really good.
I told him about the Nationals. He was keen, so we will try to get him along. It woukd be nice to see his GT too. He is a really enthusiastic and friendly bloke who was excited to know there are so many other early Isuzu enthusiasts.

Matt.

did you convince him to join bellett.net, Matt?
Does anybody know if any Sport years had the vented bonnet as standard? It's possible mine has a late non Sport hood as the previous owner had wrecked several GT's.
