Cheryl & Gricey celebrated a Virtual Nationals with friends & family on Sunday. This post from Facebook, copied with permission:
We had a wonderful Virtual Nationals at Matthew and Mels farm in Gerogery. It was the first fine, sunny day for more than a week and we enjoyed celebrating with family, a BBQ, and of course lots of photos. Even the dogs, cat and horses were interested in the Bellett GT and Florian and mother nature was glorious. A lovely day was enjoyed by all.

Great to see your car "almost" finished ,Dick.
Looks good and it is also …. rare. Put it in a container and send it "down under" for the next Nationals - you will be made welcome I am sure.
Good to see you back on the Forum...

:) One of the members pointed me to the possibility to join your Nationals, without the need of a container! So here I am. Guess I m the one who s done the most miles.
And yes Glenn; genuine 1600 Sport SOHC, just a bit older than yours.

Sure makes our nationals easier this way. OK on genuine Sport. I wonder how many Sports were ever built? Certainly seem to be very rare. I only know of 2-3 here for example. All imported well after Belletts were sold here.

Wasn't in the meeting as the invite was received 3 hours after it took place.
Are there any more scheduled?

Great to see you and the other happy faces. We are looking forward to 2021 and of course, we will be there! It's a great plan in excellent surrounds. As you spoke of Hahndorf tonight, memories of 2009 came flowing back, great pub lunch, great cake shops, camping in said holiday park with the kids, trying muntries for the first time at Beerenberg.
And that was after all the good times of the Nationals, meeting more Bellett owners for the first time at the show and shine, featured marque on the Bay to Birdwood, a great night out at the dinner, staying a night with Dave and Sarah, the list goes on.
All Nationals are great (yeah, we've been to 'em all), but I declare here that for me, the 2009 Nats were the best. Probably because we came as a family, and made a month long road trip out of it crammed into our Auto Bellett, Doris.

The year will fly. Get into your preparations!
Cheers, Matt.
