Sorry about the delay in replying to your post - I only saw it recently when you sent the email.
I would like to get a new water pump. The 1600GT engine is OHV, and have found a couple of old corroded pumps in my collection of stuff that should be discarded. Your new pumps have 2 securing bolts for the back plate, but my old ones only have 1 bolt. This won't make any difference when it is all sealed and fixed to the block. Everything else is exactly the same. Photos attached.
