Matt,
That is GREAT NEWS, so far that will be at least 8 mixed between sedans or GT's.

Lets talk as to when you will be arriving in Sydney, staying at Penrith I guess?, maybe we can get together the night before, hopefully we should all have the same assembly time.

It will be a good day and I suggest your children will enjoy themselves also, with many activities during the day!!

DID ANYONE ELSE REGISTER, IF SO PLEASE CONTACT ME SOON??
DM.

For your information!!
We have had 8 cars accepted, with the potential of another to be included due to being a replacement for a car withdrawn.
We will be in place in Macquarie Street in Sydney, in front of the State Library.
Motofest starts at 1000 am, most years lookers are there well before 1000 am.

If you can come into Sydney for Motofest on Australia Day, come in check out the cars and have a chat!!
Hope to see you there!!!!

FIRST UP BEFORE YOU ASK--- PHOTOS TO COME!!!

We had A GREAT DAY, we ended up with 10 cars due to picking up a couple of late passes from people who had to pull out at the last moment.
Each car was a different model or year and had different features.
Where we were located was not the best due to the Sydney Festival people pulling strings and changeing arrangements at the last minute giving the organisers of Motorfest a major headache with reduced space.
We were not placed until after 1100 AM, which caused some cars to develop overheating problem (no Belletts of course :) ), (Jaguars coils don't like the heat either  ) the day was extremely HUMID without any breeeze to assist in keeping cool  .

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to those Guys and a Lady who travelled great distances to take part, a very special effort on their behalf!!!!

Photos will be up in a couple of days!! :geek:

FANTASTIC :!: In a word. Had a realy great day, spending time with the broth & sis, Gary C & some friends I haven't seen in a while. Great to see you've put up some pics of PEOPLE Dave, I'm bad for taking only car pics & wishing I'd got some of the owners! A highlight for me was seeing a couple of friends I hadn't seen for 20+ years. I sold one of them his first bellett in 1983, AND HE'S STILL GOT IT!! Dave (of course - how many Bellett owners are called "Dave"??) also shed some light on the history of my G.T. He said, "I had a G.T. once, but sold it. Last I know it was sitting in a paddock near Goulburn." "What colour?" I asked. "Silver." "Was it modified to accept a different motor?" "Yeah, yes it was", he said. "Well that car is sitting in my carport!"
There's more - It seems my uncle had it in his dealership in Cowra, but was having trouble selling it. He rang my brother, told him, and said he wished it was a ute. Greg just happened to have a Wasp, so he & Dave went to Cowra, swapped the Wasp & Dave got the G.T.. So I've ended up with a G.T. my uncle found in the '80's, via 3 other owners. It's a small Bellett world!
O.K., here are afew Belletty pics from Motorfest.
Cheers!

Hey Ross,
I have the small "Bellett.net" stickers on my side windows, Dave C gave them to me in Adelaide, they look good and for fussy bastard like me, fussy about what goes onto or in my car at all times.

We had a REALLY good day together with the group. Looking forward to Coona.
This weekend we have the Gnoo Blas Classic Car Show in Orange, hopefully the weather will look after us, we have had a lot of rain all across NSW.
Catch you later.
