Thanks Greg! Much appreciated.

I have some horrible 90's tape deck in mine, sounds like tin so I don't listen to it. For the time being, I'd be quite happy just to listen to the exhaust note (better once the baffle has been fixed), but I'm sure one long trip in the back and the little guy will have something to say about the lack of back seat entertainment!

If it's going to have anything non-original, I'd prefer an 8-track.

Cheers,
Duane

What a load of Bullshit.................... If it means to keep a car total original, ie Radio, instead of Cd or 8 track and the rest of the bullshit.............how come your cars have MAG wheels, and some are lowered and even have fender mirrors on the doors ....................original..............Bullshit.

Thanks guys!

The GT has been a daily driver the last 3 months (and counting) and hasn't let me down yet...but the 'to do' list is mounting - exhaust system is ready to fall off, radiator is a gluggy mess, alternator and diff are noisy (although the latter has freed up since I took it for a run up the Northern Expressway. Tyres are a priority...just ahead of the radio.

Cheers Josh, I like the woodgrain, it could look good...but I'm happy to wait until the real thing pops up all the same (there's a 90's cassette player filling the hole at the moment). Thanks for the offer mate, much appreciated!

Ha yes! Solved, thanks to oz_toffa roadside assistance.

That's what I was planning too Davo, as soon as I get a parcel shelf and speakers (kiddies seat at the moment). So there is a GT specific radio?

Same Radio Different front plate

Sedan
you can see in the photo above it has a crease in the middle running horizontally this is to fit the shape between the glovebox and instruments in the sedans

The GT
front plate one is flat as from my picture and also the GT Console pictures

Cheers

Duane
I gave a gt radio with original gt face plate to the S.A guy's as promised. I don't know who has it as i dropped it of at the S.A cabin and they were going to deliver it too you. It is missing a knob i can post 1 if you need it but any old radio should be fine.
