BTW..... I finally got around to fixing that headlight

It was well and truly stuffed and the band-aid just wasn't an acceptable remedy according to the Woodford police officer (as he shook his head while fighting back a giggle and a smirk)

The light was totally shattered

All good now........... except for the fact that I destroyed Donkey's motor BIG TIME 2 weeks ago when I epocally cooked it on my way home from work.
So now he has been forced off the road and requires a full engine rebuild, maybe upgrade
He will also get a full front & rear end rebuild with disc brake upgrade, some rear LH quarter repairs and possibly.......... a respray

We'll just have to see if I get a little too carried away or not

Could it be? Donkey restored? All shiney and glistening in the sunlight? Even with door cards??
Well goodness, why not? He will still be unique just like his owner.
;) Matt.

Respray? are you staying with green fence paint or doing a two tone green and brown fence paint? :D
Motor upgrade? 8-)
Rear qtr panel? I thought rust was compulsory on Donkey.

We love The Donkey.

If there is to be a respray there will never be any shining or glistening in the sunlight........... that's not the Donkey way

It will be very similar to what he is now, only done properly in a sued/matt finish with scallops down his flanks.
Your not far off the mark Dean, it WILL be either the same "fence paint green" or he may end up "poo brown" (yet to be decided)
I will replace all his window seals and fix all his leaks so that he can get a full interior put back in without the worry of water damage anymore. The bed will be retained for roadtrips but it too will be remade to match the rest of the interior.
Although the interior is the very last thing that Donkey will have sorted.

Motor upgrade..... well that will most likely be one of the 2 motors I am building atm.
A supercharged G150 (bored to 1.6ltr) or the supercharged G161 (I was going to put this one into the Tinga Wasp but I now have BIGGER plans for that one)
