good to see you still have a large rubber mallet under the Florian, Gricey.
makes the fitting of suspension that much easier.
us old blokes still have a trick or 2 up our sleeves

Well I have just noticed that the isuzu badge that goes on the bonnet of the florian has royal blue inlay . Matches the blue on the motor so there. Gricey

Any body got any thoughts wether I could put rear 1500 bellett coils in the front of the florian to lower it or not. Gricey

Now why would you wanna go & do that? You'd loose your suspension travel & cushy, comfy Florian ride goodness! Ya gotta drive it first to lap up that swoopy matressy Florian swagger!
If you're keen though, you could use 117 coils. Looking under Gary Carter's we found that the front end is fairly identical, but with a thicker sway bay and about a foot lower.
There's bound to be plenty around...............or maybe.....not.
What got us looking under there was that the 117 wants some ball joints. Now, you might be the bloke to talk to. Would you have any nice new Florian ones? He only needs 4 !!
Cheers mate,
Matt.

Farmer. I got new bellett and Torana ball joints that's all sorry . May be we could advertise for joints and coil springs at the same time. Try bob blackwell for the 117 parts . Last time I saw him he still had a 117 gricey

have a look at balljoint teflon injecion in your area. Basicly they pump hot teflon into the ball joint, not the best way but if you have no choice and the low volume that we use these cars

. We had some done on a old truck years ago and i worked fine.

Well the florian is progressing well . Have to go away to nite and then to Brisbane next week . Should have it running this week end . Been a bit lucky with parts that I needed off the wreck and bits in my shed. parts that I did not know that I had . Week after next should be road worthy for gt and florian . Failing any major problems rego should happen within 3 weeks . Whoopee. Gricey

Great work rate there, Gricey!
2012 Nats - Year of the Florian!
Greg & Flibbs, yeah, thats the plan. GC has left the 117 with our local bloke to get the joints injected. He thinks the cost will be similar to new joints. Nice to hear it works OK, thanks.
Cheers, Matt.

good move. It's a great system. With a few cars the 45days for about $69 is the go i think.

Glen. I have my red Car on club 120 days . That's lots more than I will use so 3 cars on 45days I doubt I will use the time. When I get all 8 on club I will have no chance. Might have to start hiring them out . Gricey

Twelve months in NSW for Club Rego, $54-00, just re registered the GT. Big restrictions on useage though the only problem.
Great savings for Insurance though!!!
The ICCA now has about 14 cars on Club or Conditional Rego!!

yes the 45 days is the go. Thats a day a week almost and far more than most Belletts tend to travel, especially if you have 2 or more.
I guess we are lucky with the new club reg in vic. Quite good. You can't of course take passengers for a fee or even take a trailer to a swap meet if you are selling goods though.......
