Sounds like you are ready to sit the theory section of your course - only the practical to come. With a bit of luck you may become fully endorsed to operate a Tiara.. or a Crown of the same vintage.

Pretty much right. There is a tab on the left side and right side of the horn ring (out closer to the steering wheel rim ) so that the driver can operate the turn indicators with their thumbs. That is basically the system as I remember it. I drove a very nice super original Tiara ute about 2 years ago with a view to buying it but decided against it.

Epic road trip was epic! Wow!
Just a quick bit of news: The Toyota Car Club of Australia is proud to announce that from our recent Classic Japan event, we have raised $4,000 that will be heading to the Fred Hollows Foundation. This money will go towards restoring the sight of 160 people. A massive thankyou must go out to all our sponsors, volunteers & all of you who came along, donated, had a great day & made all of this possible.

Yeah we all had a lot of fun that day (those days).
Remember when we found a Jensen Interceptor on the side of the road? We won't see those days again, that's for sure.
