Hi all, I'd hoped to post lots of photos of the progress work on the Peter Lyons GT, but unfortunately we had the house broken into and the camera was stolen, so all the repair photos are lost. Gearbox in and out, clutch and pressure plate dramas all those photos gone. Also the car had it's first day out at Speed on the Tweed where we met Glen Potter, with his four door Bellett, photo's of the Potter Bellett on the grid and racing round the track are gone

. Still with lots of encouragement from Greg at the orphanage we made it to Lakeside for the Japanese Nationals.

Picking up the trophy for peoples choice is dedicated to Peter Lyons, as all we had to do was get it up and running again with the help and advice of friends, parts gt orphanage.

When you see all these beauties in a line it kind of makes you think the pink GT should be there too. Great to meet Lindsay for the first time, that green on your Gt would look great on my pink one but the missus keeps saying ' I thought you were going to sell it'.

Wish we had more photos as the pace increased around the track at Lakeside especially when certain people got excited, not to mention any names, Greg, Lewis.

Just realised I hadn't checked this thread. What a beaut line-up!
And sounds like it was a fun day - Great to see them out & about!
But Gerry, Pink is fine! (Well, I like it anyway!) Not at all boring, at least. (Not that a G.T. ever could be!)
Thanks for showing,
Matt.
