NRMA MOTORFEST 2011 SYDNEY!!

All,
By tomorrow the Online entry will be available for NRMA Motorfest 2011.

See if we can beat last years effort of 10 cars,

entries need to be forwarded back to NRMA very quickly, if you want to take part, please either contact me, or go Online tomorrow at mynrma.com and try your luck.

If you still can not find the details contact me with a fax number and I will fax a form off to you.
If we want to be displayed as a group, please enter ISUZU CAR CLUB of AUSTRALIA on your entry, that way we will be given a nominated location all in the one section of the display.

C'mon give it a go?????

Yes you would be the first Wasp that I know of, please do your best to be there, entries are closing early so be quick if you don't find the entry on the web, send me your fax number on Monday and I will send you one!!
IT IS THOUGHT THAT ENTRIES COULD CLOSE PRIOR TO THE ACTUAL DATE SET DOWN AS 22ND Oct.

To you all please find below the NRMA Motofest Entry Form, maybe they are not on the NRMA Web site just yet, if not this gives you a head start.
Don't forget to please let me know when you are accepted if you enter we can then arrange to travel together!!
Fill in all your details and fax back to the number on the form down the bottom, any questions, please PM me remember, ENTRY IS FREE!!!

Ladies and Gents,
If all cars that have netered are accepted, we should upwards of 12 cars

if all turn up after nominating!
Various range of models etc, this leads to a geat day for all!!

If you are still not sure, enter now as entries close no later than next Friday 22nd Oct, if you end up not coming we maybe able to find a replacement like we did last year.

With the National Meeting now over, and what a great weekend it was, start thinking about Motorfest 2011!!

If you are thinking of joining us in Motofest, OR you wish you had, don't give up, come back to me ASAP and let me have your details and I will see what I can do, to date it is sounding like 15 cars registered, from GT's to sedans and a surprise Isuzu, including at least 4 to 5 cars from Interstate, what a great effort.

When you receive your notification by mail around early to mid December, please either PM me or phone me on 0412 600469.

IF you havent got a car entered with us this year with 1 spare spot to fill, do your best to come into Sydney for a look!!

The vacant slot is no longer vacant. We now have 16 cars confirmed entrants for 2011 NRMA Motorfest, FANTASTIC!
4 nominated from the North (QLD), 1 from Tassie, THANK YOU.

I hope each entrant thoroughly enjoys the day as much as I have for the last 15 years!

To all those that have registered to attend Motorfest 2011, your information letter should have arrived.
My information letter arrived Friday, all NSW participants should have theirs, Interstate entrants should have theirs by Monday, any problem with the letters not arriving please come back to me.

No mate, you should have received yours also, please let me know if it does not arrive very soon.
I have had a QLD entry cancel out, so if it becomes a problem we still have one spare slot.

To ALL that Registered,
Everyone should now have their letter of acceptance, same thing, if you have not received your letter and sticker by the end of this week please let me know. like all letters, white envelope A4 size, they can get misdirected, I will follow up if you let me know.

Well all should now be prepared with their sticker and assembly details.

We do have one spot to fill,

, should you know of anyone with a car that can be available for Motorfest, they will need to contact me and talk. The car needs to be over 30 years old and can be any of the Isuzu group, Belletts any model, Florian, WASP or a 117!!

FIRST IN BEST DRESSED!!!
I am still waiting to see how Rod from Tassie got on with his wheel bearings, HOPEFULLY OK, or if he has greased them up like Brett suggested he will make it, fingers crossed Rod????
All don't forget free road service

will be provided to ANY cars travelling to Motofest by the NRMA if you are unlucky enough to experience an issue with your car/s. Be sure you travel with your entry documents and windscreen sticker.

Remember you do NOT need to be Club Member of any Club, just own a Bellett or an Isuzu over 30 years old.

WELL WHAT A DAY WE HAD!!!!! 13 Cars, 4 GT's, 8 sedans and 1 Colt 1100F.

We had what was very clearly the best location, with the weather as hot as it was we had shade all day and a very prominent position. A number of people came up to us and have told us where cars are or they are looking to do up a car, yes we mean Belletts!

Photos to come when I reduce the resolution so they can be seen easily on the screens. I know a lot photos were taken, no doubt others will post photos as well as myself, very soon.
WE HAVE SET A TARGET FOR 2012 OF 20 CARS, PLEASE Ladies and Gents, get those cars out get them finished and lets see you all at Motorfest 2012????????????????????

WOW, what a day, the heat took a lot out of us, hottest Sydney day for over 20 years, we will survive as we always do, we are Bellett enthusiasts!

If we can get some Interstate entrants next year, I will speak to the organiser to see if they will do a special media coverage for us and maybe a mention on TV. This year were interviewed for TV, however we did not make TV this as we did in Orange, 2 years ago.
The interview could end up on mynrma/motorfest a report from Motorfest 2011, I will keep watch and let you know if it appears.
