JAF's cruise 2010

OK, so firstly, it says "JAF's cruise" and immediately you would think it is a Japan Auto Federation thing.

Sorry folks, it is not. JAF is an Adelaide boy who used to organise a lot of shows etc. Then one day he stopped, then a few days later, namely the days between Christmas and New Year, he got bored.

So the JAF's Bored After Christmas Cruise, AKA JAF's Last Cruise of the Year was born.

It's been going for about 8-9 years now and this year he had several hundred cars; it was massive.

By the way JAF is short for JAFO, which was an acronym <language warning kiddies> for (Just Another F*cking Onlooker)

The tenuous link to "General Bellett Chat" is that the Florian was there in all its glory. I think one person even looked at it!

So I thought I'd throw some photos up!

Cheers,

Dave

Didn't know Volvos could get any "sicker". Also that massively dumped ol' Val !! This amazing collection still keeps on comin' out the woodwork. Could be some Belletts in there next time to stir up the mix. Then there'll be two people having a look !?!

I love the earlier volvo's!
They're boxy - but they're good!

Damn I wish I had that Corvair in my garage though. VERY tidy.
Thanks for the picks Dave.

Hey Stickman,

If you're after a Corvair one of the guys down here in Adelaide has one for sale :)

Cheers,

Would love a Corvair but not nearly enough in the piggy bank atm.
Besides I have to move house in a month and still haven't got a place lined up yet. :?:
I have to find storage for 4 cars and truck loads of timber already so another car right now would be a little silly.
There's one on the Gold Coast I know oft hat was up for sale recently too.

They are a cool as car though.

It's wrong to love any Volvo (except maybe a 123 GT or 122S). On the other hand there is a tidy looking BMW 2002 (early, round tail lights) that would tempt me. I owned one once and it was very sweet.
