Hi Guys, I thought I might start a thread on Isuzu model cars that we may have. May be even some infor on where we have have picked them and how long we have had them for.
Here is an example of a couple of the models that I have. I do not know a great deal about either of these models. I picked the white GTR model up off Brett from the B.C.C.V who I am sure will be able to tell us where he got them from. The little blue GTR model I picked up from E-bay and it was posted from Japan. The photos of it really don't do it a great deal of justice as it is a really nice little car with a lot of detail. Since I bought it a few years ago I have been looking for another so I can pull it out of the packet and put it together with the little screw drivewr that is supplyed, the packaging is to good on the one I have.
Look forward to seeing every body's little cars.

Hey 65Bellett,
Welcome aboard!
I must admit that I haven't seen the second GT model in the blue box before. I've seen the top one made up and it looks quite good
Do you have a picture of any of these made up?
Cheers,
Ross.

Hi Ari,
Nice lot of cars - is that Matchbox Bellett you mentioned a genuine Matchbox by Lesney or whatever as I thought they would have been built in England back then (all mine were English... then they went Chinese.... now they're quality is crap!).
Nice collection of Aussie muscle cars as well! Probably the best collection of Aussie muscle cars in all of Finland!
Cheers,
Dave

Bellett matches?
We should start a thread for weird Bellett merchandise from over the years... If I had some I'd do it. Dave, have you got any merch to bet Bellett matches?
Cheers,
Ross.

I thought Ari meant Matchbox Bellett meaning a genuine 'Matchbox car' Bellett (ie the brand name - Matchbox cars the main competitor to Hot Wheels cars) rather than a Bellett matchbox full of matches! I just re-read it... it could be either!
Bellett matches would be a pretty hulkingly good pieces of nostalgia!!!!

I have not seen Bellett matches but I have seen an Isuzu Bellett Zippo lighter. I have done a fair bit of searching to find one, but alas I still light my fags with a Bic. If any body as one it might be interesting to see a few pics.

Well now you have got me interested. I have been trying to search the net for Match Box collectors sites (not the model cars the things you light on fire) and so far I can't find any thing. Does any body know what you call a person who collects Match Boxes?

That Bellett lighter is cool! I've got a Florian lighter somewhere, I'll post pics if I can find it. The Bellett one is better though

Sorry about a confusion. Couldn´t find any other word for it. Really it´s not a box.
Little bit more about these matches. Outside of the b... matches is a list of finnish Bellett-dealers and inside is technical information of Bellett.
As by a miracle it´s unused ! I bought it few years ago from a car meet at Forssa.

The Bellett-lighter is awesome !
Yes I think also here in Finland not many have Aussie model cars. Well ,these days anyone can order anything around the world but I have bought them from my trip in Australia. I like Aussie cars. I have been down under twise and have driven about 8000 km on your roads.
Maybe some day I will come and buy a Holden ute with huge kangaroo-bumber !!
Life is nothing without dreams...
Cheers,
Ari
