Well. Cheryls gt will be at the nats 24year re build not bad. The florian was a plan but miigh not make it . Still in paint it's hard to get the kids to do things for dad. Also found it needs.an engine re build. So the odds are slim. So two gt bellets at this stage. Gricey bring it on

Thats a great offer Glenn, you know you WANT to!
Yeah Gricey, shame about the Florian, but I understand about the time - they don't make it like they used to!
2 drivers, 2 GTs - That'll work! It will be great to see Cheryl's arrive under it's own power.
Great work, perseverence pays.
Cheers, Matt.

sorry Gricey we went to a car show today i took the maroon gt

after the show we decided to go to bribie island for a ice cream croooooze type thing

Missy was not happy all day maybe neglect from the other gt's getting all the love

It backfired and farted for the 1st 15km's then sought of run on 3.5 cyls but was still quite drivable, the trip to bribie was a little rattle now and then to get to our icecream stop and a puddle under her

fuel from the rear carby and the alternater almost in two pieces

so we limped her home and i have decided it's time for a freshen up. The engine did sit in the car for 15 years untouched after it was imported and always had a slight miss on idle, [that's why it's called missy] I have a set of webers to fit to her when she is done.
It can have a set of rings, bearings valve grind and new timing chains. The water pump, radiator was all done not so long ago.

Florian motor has been re built . Not bad for an old bloke.all I need now is get the car home from the paint shop. Kids don't you love them . Still a chance for the nats. Cheryls gt is ready don't want to rego yet because its wet all the time and I don't want to drive it in the rain if it's not necessary . No Iam not a sook it's just that this car has been shedded for 25 years and has no rust . Gricey

Oooooooh, good work Gricey! Great progress in a short time, & theres still plenty of time before the nats.
I reckon you're in the zone after finishing Cheryl's GT!
I'll look forward to a Florian class. How many do we need Brett & Steve?
Cheers, Matt.
