just been announced in the last hour or so:

- cjd12.jpg (102.4 KiB) Viewed 38918 times
still a fair way off, so i'll be giving constant reminders.
and being that there's 5 months before the event, there's no excuses to why we can't have a BIG Isuzu presence!
guys and girls, this was a fantastic day out last Nov and very well run by all at the TCCA(V), and IMHO a far far better day than the AOMC run Japanese day in Feb just gone, but also they've directly asked us to come along again, so let's do the right thing and support them.
cheers.
Brett. BCCV Pres.

The Prince Skyline GT Register will be there in force......'In force' for us means 10-15 cars - nearly half as many Prince GT's that are currently on the road in Australia....
Only two of us there last year (myself and another Prince GT).

i've sent an email tonite to all the BCCV contacts i have (no doubt there's more on here too...), but basically...
we have a few of us going for sure. even have a "new" car going that hit the road TODAY.
we want to meet up beforehand, and join the guys from the Prince Skyline mafia, so if anyone is planning on going, PLEASE either PM, email, or phone me so I can pass on details.
it looks like being an AWESOME day too, so don't miss it folks!
cheers.
Brett.

Hi guys
Adam from TCCAV here, you guys were a stand out last year so looking forward to seeing what you have this year!
Just 5 sleeps to go! Is everyone excited?
As there is some confusion as to how to get in, below is a map of the area. You can enter off Williams Rd North or Alexandra Ave, entrances are marked with an arrow and will have our people on the gates. We are using both the ovals in the Como Park North precinct for show cars (that is the upper level and lower level parks)
Once again we will expect all entrants to stay put for the full duration of the show, that is 9am to 1pm - a condition of our insurance is that cars are not moving around while the show is on.
Gates are open to entrants 8am-9am. If you want to park as a group, you will need to come in as a group. Don't forget your gold coin for entry, all funds raised are going to beyondblue.
Spectator parking will be in the streets around the venue. I expect there will be a degree of chaos with that, so apologies in advance for that!
We are looking forward to seeing you all on the day!

thats great. I thought that Peter must be very close though. Not heard from either for nearly a year.. would be nice if he could come along at least in the sedan.

Peter's GT should be on the road by now too.
CPS paperwork was done last week on it, so if it's not, it's certainly ready too.

a few shots from todays all Japan Show. 7 Belletts in attendance including a new one on the road, a BLACK sedan piloted by Grant.
There were around 250 cars apparently, at the event. A casual laid back show in a park in Sth Yarra next to the river. Some interesting cars there and some real hotties too. Among them a couple of Toyotas with V8's in them on club reg.
One car parked next to us was a Datto running on LPG. Spoke to the owner who was very happy with the way it runs and especially the low cost of fuel. At first glance it appears like it has a home made efi system on it, but no injectors...... Maybe food for though for Isuzu DOHC's instead of going efi or expensive carbies. ??

Glenn i would think that lpg set up would be more expensive than the other options

by the time you bought a dated tank and had it certified {qld law anyway} However gas is a good cheat if you fit a late model engine trying to get around poll

ution laws.

you are right but i am talking about 'easier'...... ie no need to get a full efi system, computer etc etc and all the wiring, tank mods, pumps etc that goes with it. Yes, i know you can get a system out of Astra's etc
And same here with the tanks etc too. Mind you, fitting a gas tank in the boot of a Bellett would be a struggle ! The datto had a 60 litre tank in it. I think their boot is a little deeper and higher too. Maybe a donut tank might fit.
