Nothing listed in any of my Bellett parts books (which includes kits), which cover '67 to '71 models...but who knows. I'd be interested in some, if they do suit a GT.

I might get a few extras if i decide to order for my Sport...

but i can't confirm they are the right ones so will be taking a small risk to buy them.
the kit is about $25 plus shipping etc costs.

the listing i know of says for a fastback Bellett. I would imagine same as a GT

Looks like a kit does one side

If anybody has a parts book with the calipers listed in it the kit could be listed at the top of the page. Also remove the first number 8 off the prefix and the zero off the suffix of the part number and this will leave a eight figure part number. Check the back of the book and it may be there. Isuzu ran eight numerals in the early stages and about the time when GM came into vogue they then ran ten numerals. The eighth number may be different. This could be just a supersession on the part. At the front of the book there is an explanation page on supersessions.
A parts book for a GT is one I don't have in my collection. If anyone who has one and is willing to loan it to me and I will be able to photo copy it. Please pm me if you are willing.

Dave.

My parts book just shows the individual parts, not the kit, which is a nuisance !

I got 2 different parts books with my car, one includes kits specifically, nothing listed for caliper seals in a kit.

OK, I can get 10 seal sets. ( a set being one side only from what i can tell) ie 5 cars worth

final cost is unknown but count on about $40, maybe less, including shipping to here.

Naturally, I will keep some for my Sport plus spares..... so will have 6 left (ie 3 cars)

I might be able to get more but won't be buying for the sake of it and holding them.

a couple have said they are interested....... but, please advise me again so i have a list and can decide i need to get a few more

PM me or email direct [email protected] NOW

Sorry for the late reply. They are the correct kits for a GT as i have recently fitted one to one of our GTs. A kit does both calipers, consists of 4 seals ,4 boots and a satchel of rubber grease. I would be intrested in a kit if you have one spare.lindsay

Many thanks for confirmation, Lindsay.

Looking at the picture, i think the kit is only for one caliper, ie two pistons. So 2 kits required for a GT.

I will put you down for one kit for now, let me know if you want two.

The process takes a while as my contact only answers English emails once a week. (when he gets a translator i guess :) )

Once i know more details on shipping etc, i will post a better idea of final costs. (plus Aus post of course) For those going to Nats. I will take theirs with me for pickup.

These are usually hard to find so good to have a spare. I am pretty certain i will need them for the Sports as it's been sitting for 4 years or so.

UPDATE:-
the seal kits are now on order. Unfortunately, the price did increase slightly as Isuzu applied a price hike this month. Only small though.

My best guess for the price in my hands is about $30 per caliper kit.. PLus shipping to you by local post.

With luck? they might arrive before the Nats and i can bring them along.

UPDATE:-

My contact in Japan emailed today that the seal kits have now been purchased. They should be posted out to me in the next week or so.

I will advise when they arrive, to those who asked for them and advise cost and also Australian postal charges to you, if applicable.

Hey Glenn,
Does your supplier have any drum brake wheel cylinders and master cylinders he can get his hands on? I need to replace everything in Stinky's system.

Cheers,
Neil
