Thermo Fan instillation / Vacuum Lines

Hi I'm just after a little info
I will be installing a thermo fan on my 92 Holden Rodeo with the 2.6L 4ZE1 Isuzu engine and am hoping someone can help me with the fast idle solenoid and the thermal valve that activates it.
Obviously I want to remove it as its no longer necessary but I'm wondering if I can remove/blank off the thermal valve and ether run a direct line from the air intake to the plenum or just blank off the inlet on the plenum all together?
This is a diagram of the Vac lines Hope it works and someone can help
