Glenn asked for some picks of our sunday drive i thought griceys florian thread was hijacked enough :!: It was also a shake down run for ol yella that had done 400km previos with a few bugs. half way up the great devide we drop the back two pots and running rough i had cleaned the fuel tank and linned it with red kote but i still got a little crap in the filter so i was changing it every 100km for the first 300 and it was clear. i checked the filter 1st it was clear so i cleaned the jets in the rear carb started it and it was fine so we drove the next 100 km normal no worries after lunch it was only belletts we got out on the hiway a gave it a little touch up and again problem fuel starvation i checked the filter it was fine but almost empty thats when the penny dropped the new pump came with a prefilter problem solved :D. with reliability issue now solved and almost dark no dash or tail lights flick the switch half a dozen times and fixed also :P The only thing to worry about was a drive line vibration on deceleration but it was booked in to have window tinting so Liz followed me to the tint shop and said the rhr wheel does not look right so when i got it home jack it up and we have a bent axle  didn't have to look to hard it was amazing we could sit in it  a job for monday as i will change the new wheel bearings over also. I think it's ready for the dots n dashes tour another shake down next week :D

What a great weekend, it was an early start meeting up with Lewis, up to Caboolture then on to Kilcoy. I suspected the yellow machine was gonna be out. After following it's history and story it was great to see it in the metal, even got to peer under the rear end but got caught. It's very dry out the countryside but plenty of water in those dams, very spectacular sights.

Everything was going fine until we stopped at the cuckoo clock place, thousands of clocks, worth thousands of dollars, some goose in a Bellett locked his keys in the car, must've got too excited for a photo shoot. Lucky we had the guy in stubbies and thongs wander over to the cow fence, snip a bit of wire off, spend five minutes shaping two pieces of wire and another five minutes and he was into the Bellett quarter window. He tells everyone he does it for a living, wouldn't have needed it if we had an original key ;) .

yes she has sedan tail lights they are new from holland i have 2 spare sets of gt strip tail lights but the lenses are not so good. I can get new ones made at $50 each but it was cheaper to fit sedan ones remembering this car is made from left over bits. The best bit is below the tail lights rhs is gt lhs is sedan it took all day for someone to notice  it will be fixed next week due to somebody donating the right part now being chromed :D

Hey Davo,
No shots of the rare Bellett Sedans,(almost as protected as Princess Kate), only the common GT Cuope', Sedans very rare almost rarer than Wasp.
