I thought I would share a few pictures with everyone of my dear friend Donkey.

They are random shots of random moments, some of which have come to define Donkey not only for what he is to me but also how he is perceived by others.
These pictures are sort of in order from when I first came to own him, right up until now.


This first picture is a snap shot of one of Donkeys inspirational friends, I had only had Donkey approx 6 months at this stage,
you can almost see the family resemblance.....


This picture is one of Donkeys pivotal moments,
It is Donkey & I on our way to our first Nationals together. I had to stop and take a photo as Donkey's speedo turned all zeros. A very exciting moment......



Patiently standing in line, waiting to be judged at our first nationals by a loved and sorely missed friend.....

Sunbaking with one of Donkey's inspirational friends 'The Baboon" (at least formerly known as such untill his butt was painted green) Glenn Potters' choice '64 race car.
Donkey also got his 'no front bar' styling from this car, because it just looks old skool cool.....


Donkey back home in the paddock comforting 'Billy' and telling him all will be fine and one day he too will be back on the race track chasing and passing Skyline's.....

That's exactly what I tell him after every trip.

I pat him on the dash and say "That'll do Donkey, that'll do" then I let him know he's a "very good boy"

Poor donkey needs a couple of operations before the next big outing like a hip [uni's] replacement and knee [wheel bearings] replacement and he will be fine. Maybe after we recheck his prostate [diff ] again he may have another little nervous piddle.

Donkey is a favourite of mine, just because!

does he always poo in the same place?? Good donkeys do that.

Most of the time OZ but he is a cheeky bugger, sometimes he plants one in my right shoe just before work in the morning
Donkey poo was on the trip topic list this year but might save that one for some other show and shine

Missed the race yesterday, but Donkey reckons those horses are nothing more than show ponies anyways. Good for nothing more than 5 minute prance with a midget on their backs.
Guarantee they'd never keep up with Donkey in a race winding through the country side at 85mph all day long.

GT Orph is right though, some surgery is on the cards VERY soon. Only minor stuff, nothing that can't be done under a local anesthetic with a rubber glove on (snap! )

Don't worry Geoff, plenty more number plate chain where that came from.
