Well Adelaide RT over it's time to plan Tassie. At this stage no RT as the cjcc is planning a Tassie exploration holiday around the nats

. I was taking flori down that was the plan
until Brett said have you driven in Tassie before
As I have never been there no
YOU do not want to be there in a florian
I was informed that you need something FUN that goes hard and handles to get the full Tassie feel
I had a week to drive home and think of a Tassie car that will go hard and handle
As I struggle to choose the right car for the job
It came to me BUILD ONE
OPPERATION TASSIE begins.

No florian it will be a bellett. Flori will stay home unless his original owner wants to take him.
Don't take it the wrong way mr fib we just have more experience in making belletts stick

and flori will not be hacked it's not the right car.

That's not a bad thought Sticky, but not sure I can do it to that car! It's so original and it will take a lot of work to make it either fast, handle or stick.
Now what else is out there that I could get stuck into?
Plenty of ideas bubbling away
Looking forward to Tassie already!

Wasn't meaning that you do that to yours mate.
The picture is my 'Percy'..... the car I'm going to take to Tassie instead of Donkey (Sorry again Donk's, please forgive me)
Needs a bit of sorting though before blast off

That would be noice but no. Not that exciting. 80% bellett 10% other Isuzu 10% what ever I find lying around. I have a efi twin cam here but no not this time. A hotted up g150 will be fine.

It's not that interesting really just the Bribie island sedan copping a little attention. I will graph a heap of stuff into it and see what we come up with. It's a little rough around the body with only rust in the bottom of the guards. It has had a hit or two in it's day also. With only 50000 miles on the clock log booked. I got it going but it overheats and the whole car needs work. I have Lizzies 3 bearing race engine sitting and lizzies gearbox was destroyed in the accident. I can't fit a high starter motor to the engine as it fowls the headers that are tuned to the engine, I have the gearbox from a pr90 and the transmission tunnel from the pr90 that is now fitted in place of the auto. A lsd with Lowered springs with a heavy transfer spring and koni adjustable shocks. At this stage twin su carbs. Maybe webers

later. I will put a nice set of bucket seats new carpet pr91 consul and gauge cluster's basically a gt spec sedan. Later a disc brake conversion. Most bits are here in stock and soon going to a good home

. Not a lot to budget here as all the bits work just time and maybe a paint job.
A must is tinted windows because anyone you follow in a sedan is alllll ears

If you get my drift
It should be nice to drive, go hard, handle and later stop

Guy's Guy's Guy's.
Although Pegs and I are arranging a lot of cruising for the event, it shall be just that CRUISING, We just may be using some Targa Tasmania roads but they will be most definately NOT closed roads, and officer plod down there is the same as everywhere and also loves hiding in bushes etc etc, so we don't need racey type cars that go fast, handle really well, just cruisey and comfortable will do.
Cheers Steve and Peg

Gricey's Flo.... Now there's a racey one! When it corners it just stays on its bump stops. It could pull Aunty Mary
around corners in its big slip- stream
