by that price i have about 2K worth of rear lights in my shed....

I agree these parts are a little worse for wear, and even a little pricey. But if someone is in the area it may well be worth a visit, as they have to clear it out, and may end up in the bin. Who knows what other "hidden gems" may be out there ?
