Just thought I'd share this pic I got of a 1963 Isuzu-Hillman Minx Super Deluxe that currently lives in Sri Lanka. The owner is a collector with about 40 cars. Apparently about 10 of these Minxes were imported into Sri-Lanka in the late 1960s, at least 4 remain.
Cheers, Vic

That's pretty cool. If I was cruising through Sri Lanka I probably wouldn't have given it another thought; "Oh look, a Hillman Minx" I would have said.
Little would I have known!

Dave

Glad you enjoyed. This is the first I've heard of outside Japan. It gives me hope that someday I will find one sitting in a garage that someone has shipped back to Canberra after a diplomatic posting to Japan
I'd just love to take one to a Hillman Car Club meeting, it would confuse the hell out of everyone.

That would be awesome.
I am obsessed with cross-pollinating car shows... so with that, I'll roll straight into All Japan Day, then straight into All British Day! What they don't know, won't hurt them!
I've already taken by Buick Opel by Isuzu to All Japan Day and All American Day....!!!

Now that would be interesting
Japanese cars one corner and Americans in the other
we could put the rest of the world in the middle and call it "The best of the world."
As long as no one shoots at each other.
