Hi people,

Following the sensational 2008 inaugural All Japan Day at Wrigley Reserve in Glenelg, the organisers have officially announced that it's going to happen again!!!!

AWESOME!

This was a great show; as they say on their website:
No sound-offs.
No dyno runs.
No promo girls. (damn)
No smoke machines.
No roped-off displays.
No Fuss

What it is, is a no-BS show and shine for people to just park on the grass and chill and check out people's cars.

If you're and Adelaide person and your car is even remotely driveable, I urge you to bring it down - entry is only $10 - and put your car on the grass.

If you need to get a permit to drive it, then so be it! Because it truly was a great show and I think we need some Belletts out there to balance out the rice (and the Datsuns... sooo many Datsuns).

So get into it! It was a TOP SHOW!

Ok, I'll leave the Datto at home and bring the Bellett out for this one.

Ooohh!! if only someone would organise an All Japanese day in NSW??
Japanese Clubs are interested, BUT no one it seems, wants to take on the work involved and finding a sponsor!!

BOY what a day ot would be!!

(actually, they probably are... I mean, I can't remember the last time I saw one of those Crowns that wasn't crownsixfours.... you used to see 'em a lot in the olden days).

I look forward to it! I mean, I do like getting the Belletts out there because you get that whole range of responses from "what is it?" to "I had one of those!" and everything in between, but people are going to get sick of seeing my Ratter all the time!

Should be try to meet up beforehand and go in in a group? Just a thought, but having 5 there at once (my rat & Wasp, 2ldohc's sedan, GTtoo's GT and Miss_bellett's sedan) would just be so fully sick. Injury-inducing fully-sickness.


Any takers? Without knowing where people are meeting from... can I recommend meeting at the Camden Park/Morphettville McDonalds? That way we can get some health-breakfast first.

I think the show opens at 8:30am.

I've entered the Bellett GT as well; so I'll have three there. That will help make up for people that are BAILING!

WELL I'M SORRY, but we have to subdivide our back yard so we can spend
more money on it so it can look better than all your belletts put together.

Good call Dave, your so decisive. OK by me 8.15 am at Maccers. They do great coffee.

Gates open at 8.30 by the looks and no more cars let in after 10am.

Do we want to revise the meeting time? A bit earlier maybe?

Yep agreed - we were nice and early to this show last year and got a good spot towards the centre of the show.
