Chasing a water pump for my Chevy Luv.

Will pay good money for a working water pump to suit a G161 OHV engine.

If you have one you are willing to part with, or a rebuild kit. Let me know.

Careful with rebuild kits too Nick...I've got 2 here, both partially ratted...packaging was the same, components were different. In the end, my pump was rebuilt using 4 separate sets of parts! Happy to keep an eye out for you, I'd be all over a spare if I could find a source, but would rather see you back on the road.

There was talk on here about 'contacts in Japan' from some members, but nothing seems to have eventuated. See the water pump thread in the tech section for the whole sorry tale.

There was one on yahoo Japan for stupid money but it's sold now. I'm kicking myself I didn't buy it.

Sorry about the delay, I'll get the used pump to you next week, and we will see how well it lasts.
