Hey! Get this one almost ready for rego.....new front seat upholstry, new tunnel carpet, new front carpet, suspension including steering rack redone, new tyres, checked all brake cylinders and shoes and no leaks and very good shoes all around, all badges and trim VG, paint fair, NO rust, bumpers straight and VG chrome, locking fuel cap, GT engine with single carby runs excellent with no oil leaks, uses no oil and not a speck of smoke, needs only a new dash, paint and she is an excellent example. Auto tranny shifts as it should - rare auto as most are manuals. $2500.00 or $3000.00 with 1 year rego/safety certificate ready to drive away.

Hi again, well the sedan just lost its garage space and is sitting in my drive. If anyone will give her a home as I just have too many other projects.....$2000.00 cash/bank transfer. Rego now out of date by 2 weeks. She runs very well and would make any trip to NSW, VIC or SA if anyone out of state is int'd. Give her a better home. thanks, clyde
Dave: work some magic...find her a home.

Hey Bris Bellett, Just wondering how long ago you got that car? As soon as you mentioned it came from Launceston and I saw the photos I was convinced I had seriously looked at this car. It sat in a guys front yard for ages for sale and I remember the sign saying it had a 1600 motor fitted, but knowing nothing about Belletts, had no idea it was a GT motor. I had just bought my Corona coupe and milked the kitty dry so left it there. Was a pity because even my wife loved it, and that is rare! Do you still have it, would it be a little too ironic to come back to Tas? Did you drive it up there?

G'day, I purchased this one off ebay, flew down and drove it back to Brisbane. I did the Spirit of Tassie over and stayed over in Melbourne with family. Two days on the road at 100kph without one single problem. I kept checking the oil each time I got petrol and for the entire trip back the oil only dropped in level 1/2 litre. This does have a GT engine by the engine numbers from the other Bellett site but has the cast iron head and single carby however. It is an automatic and is not as peppy as the manual but the car rides very nicely at 100kph. With new paint she'd be a beaut. I rekitted the steering rack, ball joints and tie rod ends and lubricated everything, reupholstered the front seats and added new carpet in the front and installed the oil separator that was missing. All it needs now is to put it on
club rego and drive it. Clyde.

This car is about to go back on the road, owner is Christine and has been christened TINKABELL and will share a garage with Isabell.
Has just been resprayed and now sports a full GT engine. Has come up a treat, will post pics next week, and hope to have it at Coona. :)
