Thanks to the 2015 Nationals being held in Toowoomba, my son Michael and I got tangled up in Bellettitis and caught the disease.

We are now the proud owners of a 1965 Teardrop Sedan with non-synchro first gear but a five main bearing 1500 motor.

We have a lot ahead of us and limited funds, but a reincarnation of a Screamin' Squirrel is being bandied around, we will see how we go.

The body of the car is relatively rust free that we can see, so the major hassle, "rust", hopefully will not be a major hurdle as neither of us can weld.

Good to be back on the Bellett Bandwagon, I hope we can do the project justice.

Finally starting to get somewhere, this will be a fairly long term effort, my son Michael is determined to do the car justice, we are working on different body sections at the moment to gain some experience, so far he has taught himself quite a bit including welding, my input has been limited due to other projects, but here are some photos of the sort of work being undertaken. I am not real computer literate, so hope i get photos on OK.

Although I ran Bellett Spares & Repairs in Sydney for several years, I can assure you I will be calling on the wisdom and knowledge of the current Belletters.

I can imagine that there will be quite a wish list as we go on.
