CARnivale' in Sydney 2016

Here we go for another year, however next year the CARnivale' 2016 site will be in Western Sydney, Parramatta Park. All other arrangements as per previous years are the same entries must be in
NOW.
The reason for the change of venue is simply the construction of the Light Rail system throughout Sydney CBD, roads will be closed.
Over the years there has always been a celebration at Parramatta Park on Australia Day, CARnivale' 2016 will be an extension to that display of Classic, Vintage and Veteran cars.
Please let me know if you are entering or have entered, I will then keep you advised what the arrangements are for Australia Day. We will organise a meeting place so we can all drive in together.
How many are interested??

Registration has closed already according to the website? Was hoping to enter, although unfortunately I don't have a Bellett. Just a Piazza.

Bugle,
Piazza's are welcome in the NSW based Isuzu Car Club of Australia. Hey what do you mean, "JUST A PIAZZA", nice car.
If you keep in touch we MAYBE able to gain entry for you, how keen are you? If we have a pull out you could be a reserve for us?
Find us on Facebook, maybe you would like to join ICCA, where are you from?
ICCA is open to any ISUZU vehicle, we have a Piazza ALREADY, 117's, a Lite Elf truck or 2, Gemini's, just to name a few.
Keep in touch, you can pm me if you would like more information?
Dave M.

Hi Dave,
Piazza's are great, but i've always wanted a Bellett GT too.
I'm definitely keen to enter. My Piazza has been off the road for the past ten years and i'm only a couple of weeks away from getting it on the road again. I have a thread on it here
http://www.performanceforums.com/forums ... 095-Piazza if you'd like to have a look.
I will join the Isuzu Car Club too. I'm from Sydney, northern suburbs.
cheers,
Thomas

Due to the limited numbers allowed this year we only have 4 cars in CARnivale', PLEASE come and see us at Parramatta Park.
2 GT's and 2 sedans, more wished to enter, however entries closed very quickly due to the limit of 600 cars, so applications needed to be in early.
CARnivale' was moved to Parra Park because the new Sydney Light Rail is under construction where CARnivale' has been held for at least the last 20 years.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT YEAR???????????

You got that right Matt, reduced in size by that number might possibly mean the end should they not find another more suitable location.
HERE'S HOPING!

See you all in Orange.

Unfortunately

we only had 4 cars at this Event due to the very short time that entries were open for, please see the attached below.
We had a first class day visited by many friends and finished the day off with a very nice Barbeque.

Yes you are correct.
I think he was Warren, nice car,. pity the roof has been chopped off. Different, certainly, but destroy a nice car??? Then again it maybe a restored car and the turret too badly damaged so he has gone that way??

Yes Glenn, did you notice the Cortina GT badges?
If correct, in my opinion a pity the roof was chopped off, I don't believe a convertible was ever produced by the factory?
Anybody know any different??
