Looks like the bidding is slowly getting better. It will be good to see a good price out in the public domain. The more you get for Goldie, the better off we all are.
Good luck. I would like to bid myself, but it would land me in divorce court.

True and I have thought of that. Thx for your thoughts.
Most people who have called personally have never heard of bellettnet, don't do facebook, and have no email. So I wonder if there are better places to advertise it?

Confirms what we all hoped,GT's are rare and collectible and if you want one you have to pay what they are really worth depending on condition. I reckon this was a fair result. Well done .

Well done Deano. Stuck to your guns and got what u wanted.
Went for a fair price imho. Nice car. Has had everything done a while ago. Immaculate body and paint. Drives fantastic. OK, probably needs a really good detail and a few minor things, but in the end it's a GT u could drive across the country and back.
Seems now Bellett's especially GT's are where they belong in the classic car world and people who are genuine will pay the money for the right car.

I think the world hates me at the moment
I'm going to eat some worms
Goldie is back up for sale on gumtree as of tonight.
Long story, but involves ebay and want-a-bees.
Thanks for your support gang and hopefully this time around it'll be a better result.

I thought an ebay purchase was like a contract - once you place that bid you are locked in.
Sorry to hear that Dean mate.
Better luck next time.
Cheers,
