According to my Workshop manual, which indicates it's for 1964 (Australia) with the picture having the black grille badge, there were 3 chioces - "Bench seat with remote control, bucket seat with direct control, and bucket seat with remote control." Isuzu were aparently keen to please, but I haven't ever seen a column-bucket!

The Toyota Museum uses the Bellett as an example of car makers responding to the widening range of consumer desires:
Released in 1963, the Isuzu Bellett offered a variety of seating, transmission, and hand brakes that customers could choose from, to meet the diversifying market needs.
Not an answer, but your observation illustrates the Toyota Museum comment.

Don't worry Farmer if this forum keeps going on in leaps and bounds I am sure by the end of the year we will have a dozen members who have shining examples of column shifts and bucket seats
