Well, not exactly, but in Fridays edition (10-03-17) of the Herald-Sun newspaper, ("Cars-guide section") there is a full page ad for D-MAX which has a short piece on the WASP and Isuzu history, plus pictures also.
For those with no access to the newspaper, check out
http://www.XRUNNER.COM.AU and scroll down to the bottom and click on the various dates. 1963 and 1972 especially......... although Bellett is mentioned, no pics, but the 117 Coupe is there. Note the picture of the Wasp, especially the rear end.

Well that's very cool, but I have to issue a correction.
I never got the paperwork with the car; I queried it with the previous owner, Scotty Pol who advised he couldn't find it.
A few years later, we connected on Facebook and he advised he reckons that the rats in his shed ate the paperwork...
So all I've got is anecdotal evidence! You see, I rang Bruce A Ruston Signwriters not long after I bought the car and spoke to the current owner, Dave. He advised that he started as an apprentice in the 80s and the company was still using the utes then.
He reckons they sold them in the mid 1990s. One was in 'better' condition; I believe that is the one bought by Peter Areskog. Peter backed that story up as he said he chose his ute because it was better, although now their conditions are about the same as he daily drove it himself for many years.
The one in 'worse' condition had ticked over nine times and Dave from Bruce A Ruston said the paperwork to prove it went to the new owner, which was Scotty Pol, so that's a shame.
Dave did mention that they rebuild the suspension a couple of times, but I think they only rebuilt the motor once in the time Dave worked for them.
I recently found Bruce A Ruston Signwriters on Facebook; lo and behold, their profile pic is a shot from this very site, the one time Peter Areskog and I met up to get our utes together!
I sent a message via Facebook and didn't get a reply until just the other day. I'll post his reply later. My bloody internet is bloody slow because it's 2017 and we live in third world country.

Hey Glenn, I wouldn't worry about copyright issues; we're not making money off the publication, nor are any companies missing out as the edition is no longer available.
I would only b other deleting it if they came to us and said, "yeah please delete it", which I see as unlikely.
Besides, free advertising for DMAX!!
I do have an issue with the KB Rodeo being written up as the second generation Isuzu Ute; what about the original Chev LUV/Isuzu Faster? Not exactly a leap and a bound mechanically until the SOHC G-series motor came in, but certainly bigger and completely re-styled!!!
I think they need to consult some enthusiasts before writing up their history!
Cheers

I guess we can only be thankfull (?) that they bothered to put the early stuff in their Ad and web. Perhaps influenced by info obtained from .net members.

They (Isuzu) claimed the Wasp never even existed until they saw mine and used it for display in 2010.
I also provided every piece of info they have since used on them, and others have had other bits and pieces added about individual cars.
So yep, even Isuzu had nothing only 7 years ago.... How things have changed.

I have NBN here, fibre to the home. Disappointing speeds. What's worse, is its been out totally for hours several times in last 6 months or so. ZERO speed !
