Hi Guys,
I am in need of a choke cable for the Wasp. Would anyone happen to have a spare they could part with ?
Thanks

Donkey just has a generic Superjunk one but I will check my other none running cars when I'm out at my brothers tomorrow looking for bits for Glenn

Hi All.
Sedan and Wasp are the same cable. Referring to my parts book there was a revised cable
in 1966-'66.5. By all accounts they should all fit each other.

Dave.

Thanks Sticky and Dave.
Ferel Kev has done a repair job on my old one, it is working now, but is very stiff. Not sure how long it will last.
Sticky if you have a good one, and are willing to part with it, maybe I could get it from you at the Nationals and swap it over after that. I will hope the repair holds good until then.
Thanks, Warren

Hey Sticky, any chance I could get that choke cable off you sooner?
The repair failed already.

Good onya Stickman! I have a few assorted bodgy cables, but no spare genuine ones. I had a couple once, but gave one away and put one in Shrek. Its surprising how many cars come with broken ones.
Cheers, Matt.

True that Matt
Donkey has a dodgy after market one that makes a great coffee mug hook for roadtrips
2 of my other parts teardrops have busted ones
My 68 rust free rolling shell has a pretty good one (going to Warren)
Haven't checked the other 2 sedans yet but I think the 69 one was ok too but I think it has been modified for a Gemini with weber setup.
Haven't check the Wasps either but I assume the Dubbo one will be as fine as the rest of the car is

Hi Sticky, I have sent you a PM with my address.
However, I have just read your previous post on this topic, and if you need it hang on to it. If I can't get one, I will just have to use a generic one. I might be able to rig one up under the dash somewhere out of sight, and just keep the original knob sitting in the dash ?
Let me know.
Thanks
Warren
