Here you go....the owner of this car is still digging through about 3 metres of volcanic ash looking for his pride and joy. Last seen 1964 at the Rabaul Yacht Club, New Guinea. Never know, they might find it in a million years and the engine still turns over but there's no fuel.
Us old fossils won't be round either......oops, sorry girls

Yeh. I think your right Matt. 410 Datto Bluebird. Early production was 1200. Then a change to 1300.
Bozojo had originally put it up on facebook and rang me to tell me that he did.
I told him I wasn't on facebook and he suggested that he would put it up on the forum.
Now I know what he was looking at. 1964 I think was the year Rabaul was covered in ash from a volcano
erupting.?
Going to check that out. Will advise.
Dave.

1994 was the year. Although the volcano had exploded numerous times before and was billowing hot
ash for years prior. It had erupted a few times as well.
