Hi Folks,
I am putting up for sale my 1964 Teardrop Bellett, my 1966 Bellett, a Teardrop parts car (or to restore if you are game) , more than a shed load of spare parts, a car load of heavy parts, and many other bits I have stored.
Asking around $9000 for the lot. Would like to sell them as one lot but would separate if necessary.
I have not sorted anything out yet, just giving a heads up to anyone who may be interested.
From memory and a quick look in the parts sheds there are:

1964/65 Teardrop Bellett- 4 speed manual with extractors . Runs and drives and has a good body with minimal rust .Has usual brake issues. Needs a tune as has not been registered for 20 years.Original seats have been retrimmed with cloth inserts.
Could be registered with minimal work as it is.

1966 Bellett- automatic, only had 1 registered owner since new (bought from deceased estate). Has had patch ups and some repairs over the years. Was registered when I bought it.
Runs and drives but brakes need work as usual. Motor and box run perfectly.

1964/65 Teardrop parts car (originally Roman Red)- 4 speed manual. Motor is complete but I have never tried to start it . Rusty in many areas. Could be saved if you are very keen.

Parts - heaps of good doors, bonetts, bootlids, bumpers, grills, door trims, boxes of smaller parts, dash parts, couple of NOS windscreens, also some smaller NOS parts. Bellett badges, Teardrop front and rear seats in original red & white trim.
At least 3 complete 1600 Bellett motors (could be 4). Was told that 1 was reconditioned. 3 manual 4 speed gearboxes all with shifters, and 1 automatic box, flywheels, starters, alternators, diff and suspension parts, sway bars, tail shafts, the list goes on.
I have no time to work on them anymore, with kids, working on my Valiants, and other priorities. At least the cars and parts have been stored undercover since I have owned them :-)
Cheers, Rod.

Well hello there Rod! Nice to hear from you, its been a while.
Thats how life goes, always more things to do than we ever have time for, but as long as you enjoy the things you do.
It is great collection and a good opportunity, shame I'm not cashed up. But then, I rarely am!
Hmmm, thinking....
Cheers, Matt

Hi Gary and all, yep still for sale. eBay automatically relists it 8 times before the ad ends. I have had a few calls about various parts and someone wanted the Teardrop, plus some ‘lowball ‘ offers ( typical eBay stuff) but all still for sale. I have been letting the ad run as I have been crook with Pneumonia last couple of weeks, but once better will split it all up when I go through it all. If anyone is interested in anything my number is 0416228301 but better to message for now and I can ring back.
Cheers Rod.

Low ballers aren't just confined to eBay mate.... there's a few around the Bellett world too and they seem to be the same ones playing the same bullshit games with each car that comes up for sale.
They think they're being clever, but in reality they're only ruining things for themselves and pissing everyone else off in the process.

Yes had a low baller when I had my pr90 for sale. His mobile ended in 112 and called himself John Smith (wouldn’t even give his real name). Did nothing but piss me off, not only did he tell me my stuff was worth half of what I was asking but didn’t even want to give his name. Glad I didn’t even sell him as much as one wheel nut. Hope you split it all up and get even more money for your parts. They are getting hard to find and people need to realise that parts are worth some money if they want to finish a build. They are no longer a $500 car like they were 20 years ago.good luck with the selling.

Hi Folks,
All my parts and cars are up for sale separately now. Just to let everyone know that if you want parts I have some listed on ebay.
I am not sure if the Aussie Bellett parts market has slowed down or what.
I have sold some parts, but I have sent quite a bit of stuff back to Japan to a couple of different buyers, so once its gone, its gone out of the country for good , which then makes any parts harder to find !
I have many parts so if you need anything just message me. It would be good to keep the bits in the country :)
Thanks,
Rod

Thanks Rod, that's exactly right.
Sorry I haven't managed to get there, busy with organising the Nationals and all. I have a lot of parts, but there are gaps. I will think about what they are.
Thanks, Matt.
