Hello all . Some of you will remember Gavans" rally car . Years ago , he and I swapped cars . He got my white teardrop ( now the Pat Crea replica ) and I got his rally car that I had logbooked when I competed in the 2001 Alpine Rally (pictured )

The car had degraded somewhat since then and was a dark grey shell in my workshop . Paying work stops me from playing with my cars - until we had the year we had to have . This became my COVID project . Put on rotisserie , rust repairs, prime and paint underneath , interior, boot engine bay then it got too cold . Installed drivetrain , wiring , dash , seats , rollcage , then it warmed up . Prepare & paint exterior .

November 2020 arrived - lockdown is over . Everybody elses COVID project needed a wheel alignment .
So not much has happened since then . And I need shops open !!! I need clips for the side moulding , I need a windscreen . I need to visit Vicroads . Etc . But I'm happy with it so far . It needs some more fettling = I'm
not quite happy with my remote shifter ( RA Rodeo )

Looks excellent Craig, great job. Nice to see that some good can come out of the difficult times. So fortunate that we had projects to throw ourselves into. Only problem of course, is I have plenty of projects! And the one that won was the house. (And where I live the lockdown only lasted a few weeks.)
Thanks for showing.
Bring it to shows!
Cheers,Matt.
