Boy's GT

Hi all,

Here's the '67 GT I'd been courting for 15 years. Finally got my hands on it - now I can't let go! Credit to previous owner, all I've had to do so far is a bit of spit & polish etc, and add the superlites. A few things need to be done, but hey it's winter and it's cold outside. Would someday like to get an original grille... though I can hear you all laughing from here. Yeah I know, fat chance. Maybe one might turn up in another 15 years. Never say never.

One of the things I like most about the GT's is the arc of the roofline all the way down to the boot lid... This aspect of the sheetmetal belies it's 40+ years of age and implies a much more modern design. In numerous ways these cars were before their time.

Hope you like the snap shots. Cheers, Paul.

Like ??? much more than that..... And the personalized "P" is a great finishing touch. Reminds me of my orinigal gunmetal GT (with a few mod cons !!)

Thats how the maker intended it to be.

Choice :!: Soooo nice! And an engine bay to rival Davem's - nice detail.
Makes me ache to get into my poor, tired G.T.in the carport. Oh well, only gotta finish building the house, get "Black Betty" on the road, Restore the wasp, then I'll be straight into it! Good thing I'm only 50
Thanks for sharing,
Matt.

Thanks guys and girls, I'm very lucky to have it.

Sticky fingers hey Monnie? We'll have to watch you closely...

And Dave........ NO DEAL!!!!

So Farmer, you'll have all those jobs done by June 30? Stop mucking about with the house, just sleep in the back of the Wasp. What else are utes for?
