That is very nice job.
Like the number plates, they are very fitting.

Is that steering wheel a GT or aftermarket version?

Cheers
Rob

thanks Rob
a lot of blood, sweet and tears but well worth it
The wheel is a Nardi, using a rx7 series one boss kit. The Nardi wheel is very similar to an original gt wheel.
all instruments from gt belletts, gauges gathered(stored under the bed) over the years.

Well it went like a little trooper we were a little concerned as this was its 1st run.It was not complete until friday night so we only had a few 5km squirts up the street and a trip into town for a wheel alignment. This trip today was a little over 200km.He got his fair share of attention.
sorry Brett i posted from the wrong thread and could not have changed it.I tried to edit it.

Lewis had the other car.As for good ole reliability the little $%^&& gave us a hell of a time in the last week it just would not play the game i think it knew we were running out of time.
We still have a few things that need to be done the timber tray is only temp a bit of ply from the hardware ready to fall apart if it rains  rear shocks, glove box held shut with zip tie ect.We set a date to have it done and it was there.

Walter is going on a practice run for coona.we are taking him on a club run to inverell in a few weeks,at this stage we will be doing wheel bearings and rear shocks.Liz bought a cd player today so we need to find somewhere to house it.

walters heart transplant is well under way with a rebore to take gemini pistons,a new set of oversized valves are getting fitted a crank resieze as it was in a bad way,a mild cam, lynx manifold with twin su's. We are also going to change his diff so he has some legs :D.
not quite the chev Ken wanted.
