Ah, that'd be the "ebay" special that I did buy! :D

If you look at my project thread you will see this car has had many changes since it sat in that barn for 10 years ;)

Re: fitting sigma discs to bellett

I had to machine the center bore of my disks to fit on the hub properly. (turbo sigma, but same part number as tp magna) Any one else have the same problem?

I'm about to make the mounts this weekend I hope, a template would be good but it looks like I'll just have to dream something up.

Re: 1969 Isuzu Bellett

Well, I have literally done nothing on this for a while now. As I have been busy with my TX Gemini (project daily driver) so here's a couple of pics of why I haven't been working on the poor ol Bellett :(

Re: Isuzu Bellett 1500 Project

Not all magna brakes fit. You need tm/tn/tp model disks and obviously need to make a caliper mount.

Re: Isuzu Bellett 1500 Project

Diff should handle a mild turbo g200. There's a guy in melb with a 340hp rotary powered Bellett that's running the stock diff. Apparently they only ever broke the bolts for the half shafts.

Diff center isn't exactly small either, like most old Isuzu's. (Gems for example are quite big compared to ...

Re: 1969 Isuzu Bellett

Scrapped my exhaust template and am going to start again on it soon. Lately I've been doing a bit of research on ignition and how I'm going to go about getting this thing running, so I haven't had a lot of time to actually get out and work on it.

Been out playing with the front pulleys to get them ...

Re: 1968 Isuzu Bellett 1500

The rear springs are approx 70mm shorter, just count the coils on your fronts as the rears have a lot less. I can measure them if you like although it's easy to tell them apart if you have a full original set.

Re: 1968 Isuzu Bellett 1500

Hey D, you wouldn't happen to have a spare blue Bellett badgey thing that sits in the middle of the dash? Someones mashed a radio where mine should be. I'll just have to add some old volt/temp/oil gauges to clean it up a bit if I can't find one. oh and do you have another steering wheel like yours ...

Re: 1969 Isuzu Bellett

Imagine when you have the steering on the left side as we have here in Finland... I have also made those pipes for my ex 2-liter DOHC Bellett and that was a tight fit

Ah, It just adds to all the fun! :D

As for the completion date, I have no idea to be honest. Probably 6 months to get ...

Re: 1969 Isuzu Bellett

Update 9

Due to working on the new daily driver (TE Gemini) and consumption of alcohol, there has been a rather large lack of motivation to work on the Bellett. But, I've made an effort this week now that the Gem's engine is away at the machinist.

I bolted on the original Bellett mounts to the ...

1969 Isuzu Bellett

Thought you guys may like to see my project. Most of this is copied from another forum so its a bit messy. Some may have seen it floating about the net.

She's a bit of a mess on outside with lots of surface rust but no major rust issues luckily. Had been in a barn for 10 years or so so it was kept ...
