Sway bar end rubbers ?

Post by Glenn »

Sway bar end rubbers:-

anybody got a source for these.

One of the most common rubbers to wear out on a Bellett. In the past I had NOS parts but they are long gone.

This must be a prime candidate for getting repro parts made as a group.

also, those rubbers on top of the inner mount link. The 'flat' ones onto the front cross member. I have seen something similar on a Fairlane in the past.

OK, thanks Dave

I am guessing there are lots of suitable rubbers that can be adapted etc for the car.

pedders make universeal ones in urethane/nolathane.
inner sedan ones are part# EPH18. GT are different as they are a couple of mm thicker in the bar, but i can't remember the exact size or part# atm... but i think they are 21mm. i'll check when i'm near my GT again.
outer ends are all the same, part# EP3320/15.

Are the pedders sway bar rubbers black or other colors?
Don't look quite original with red clamped in around the bar. Rather make my own in black!

Its everyone to their own I guess.

pedders are red, same as nolathane.
there was one mob doing black (whiteline i think) but it was only a few bushes at the time.

Hi Oz, sorry I'm slow to read this post. I have a couple of genuine NOS outer rubbers still in the pack if you would like to borrow them.
Or was Flying's good enough?

Great job on the repros mate,
Cheers, Matt.
