Cheapest GT I've Seen in Japan...

Post by degruch »

Not much info, and no, the price is not 'Buy Now', but this is by far and away the cheapest GT I've seen in Japan:

http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?ur ... GT%202%202

Silver is interesting...was it ever offered in Japan in 1967?

Exchange rate not so lousy at the moment, so that Fastback is coming in around $16.5k to purchase...oooooozzzzzzzz?

looks very tidy from this distance. Unsure if silver was factory but underbonnet appears same colour too.

Glen, I think it is a lighter silver than the Isuzu 0088 silver grey,
so probably a respray as I am pretty sure no light silver was ever factory.

Good car for price at the moment landed in OZ.( cheaper than my PR 91 acquisition ) but still with 13 days to go
the bids will certainly climb.!

the GT looks all very original....
even the mechanical fuel pump, air breather lines, air filters and the colour of the fan blade look very original red.

will be interesting to see where it goes price wise??

should at least double its current Jap price.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

have to focus on my Auto for B2B and the Blue deluxe wheel bearing and disk brake issues!@#$%^&*^#@#$%^

bring in the big guns. Son-in-law who is a Porsche trained mechanic. and you should see his tool kit!!!!!!!

The Engine Bay looks silver - blue colour more than likely original -- Is that like yours Early gt?

The Fan colour -- did they come in different colours -- I always assumed they were yellow

It does look tidy

Of course, if the masked grille and OHC is your thing, for a little less...

I assume these are the sorts of cars that disappear (as seems to be the Yahoo Japan tradition) just before auction's end?

Cheers,
