Re: New Home for WASP65
Geez Josh, that's a fine-looking Wasp!
I always knew that Wasp had something awesome in it just waiting to bust out!
10/10!
The Bellett hubcaps look good on there... did Keith do that modification? That's a lot of work for no reason, but I guess if you've got no Wasp hubcaps, it's the next best thing.
I wonder if this means that original Wasp items won't fit on there now?
Again, looks great!

Re: New Home for WASP65
Thanks B and Dave,
The guy Kieth got the car from did the mod, basically welded blobs on the buttons the Wasp hubcaps fitted to!
The original caps will no longer fit but I the can grind them back To Fit the original style caps
Will prob get some early luv rims to swap around too although they are a little wider
Josh

Good job Josh.
We are going to have to have a "Year of the Wasp " at the Nationals some time down the track. They were missed this year.

Looks great Josh, well done! If you want an alloy valve cover, I've got one kicking around here too.
Looking forward to seeing Bluey on a cruise one day.

Re: New Home for WASP65
Upgraded Gauge cluster for the Wasp, all (near) correct period Yazaki Gauges
They replace the VDO cluster already installed.
Took 6 months to find them all but well worth it

Re: New Home for WASP65
Not Repro, It was available in the early 70's
And its fully operational
The 23CH CB in not legal to use though
They were more common in the US, quite a few brand made versions of it and even a few car makers like Cadillac
had them as standard equipment
