Goldie the GT. Mount Stradbroke, Queensland.

Post by Gunna »

This thread is a running diary of a GT we call "Goldie".

As I have a memory like a sieve, I can keep information like activities, repairs, modifications, etc. in one place.

I spoke to Peter tonight about the roadworthy she needs.

She'll be getting a nice new set of Yokohama shoes (the old tyres with lots of tread had perish cracks in them), a new front windscreen compliments of our friends at Shannon's and a few other small bits and pieces. All the running gear, brakes and other standard "pick-on" parts passed with flying colours. Just have to sort out a polarity switch-over relay for the reverse switch on the ZZR 5 speed box. Apparently the reverse switch activates in all the forward gears.

It'll be good to have a Bellett again after all this time. I better look after this one. The wife found out and was giving me the evil eye but she will love it ( I hope :D ).

I could supply shannons with a new screen in the box $1800 in stock. That's what the mould cost me ;) and if I reorder it is a minimum of 10 screens

Davo there was a group of us in the cjcc that decided to reproduce them. I could sell you 1 but the top badge you need to be a member of the cjcc.
