hi guy's it thought id join up here as well,i dont own a bellet but i've got a gemini or three my road car a holden zz/z gemini with a g200 my current proect,an isuzu 1975 pf50 gemini (yes it's an original isuzu built one) and my pride and joy the original cdt pf60 race car from the 80's it raced from late 1981 till then end of groupc in december 1984,it has two bathursts to it's credit including finishing in front of peter brock in 1981and also getting third in the 4 cylinder class. as it is today as it was and will be again paul
They are all cool, and I was checking out your PF50 on ozgemini just the other day. That car has a lot of good stuff on it that didn't come out on the aussie ones until later if at all. Nice genuine PF50, too
Nice pf60. What engine is it running? Standard gear for a Gemini or the G200W engine?
Welcome aboard too, a lot of us here have Gemini's as well, from TX coupes, TD panel vans to TG sedans and everything in between Nothing like a CDT coupe though!
I was the guy that PM'd you the other day on some forum (was it JGSA? Or Japanese Nostalgic Car? I can't remember!) saying that I thought your black coupe was horn. I stand by my statement!
Also was your PF50 Joe Lipsons old car? I seem to remember he had one... or perhaps I was just thinking of your car the whole time (back from the old HotGemini days).
Cheers,
Dave

thanks guy's brett i'll remember that lol antus yep the pf50 has a few things that we never got according to the info i have it's an optioned up gemini lt has a factory tacho and center consol guages the interior has a much better quality vynil and a lot more sound deadening.
2ldohc the pf60 is at the moment running a stock g180z but will eventually run a full race g180z because of the restrictions in groupc this is the motor that it's homologated with (pf50's were also alowed to run as well as two zz/r's). the historic groupc class the cars have to be original ones and run in the condition that they raced in.
dave ahh i remember it was on jnc ,yes the pf50 was joe lipsons car i just recently bought it of rick ludgate. it's currently in pieces in my garage, where i'm finding rust in places i'd never look for in an aussie car but my panel beating mate recons we can fix it. paul
hi 65 bellet i'd better not get a bellet for now as my wife would kill me heres and interior shot or two of the pf50 the interior is out of it at the moment as we needed to find out where the rust was. all the gauges are factory fitted from what i can tell, and the seats are of a much better quality vinyl than the local cars. paul
hi guy's long time no update we hope to make a start on the pf60 race car soon(well i can hope). but unfotunatley the other two have to move on,it look like i have a good home for the pf50,so now to sell the zz/z. paul
thanks dave yep the zz/z"s a nice piece of gemini but as a daily not so good (i get paranoid about other road uses ) the pf50 is going to a guy that will restore it,so a good out come there now th convince the wife we need to get the cdt back to it's former glory
The gemini pf50 was one of my old cars also, which i sold to Paul, i bought the car from a guy in Sydney were i had it transported down to Melbourne were i got it running better with a few new parts here and there. good luck Paul hope it on the road soon.
the zz/z has sold,it's gone to a good home so no problems there. just need to get back onto the cdt groupc car(well i can hope). good to see you here rick
a two and a half year relationship has ended today. sold to a good home and will be looked after a sad day but i maybe able to get some work done on the pf60(well i can hope) paul
well the day finally came,we started pulling apart the pf60 and so far no real surprises the rust we knew was there isnt as bad as we thought, and things over all seem pretty good. this weekend we will finish pulling it apart then formulate a plan to get it back where it belongs and shiny as well
well a bit more has happened and it's looking like it willo be a better project than it thought the rust seems to be nowhere near as bad as we thought so hopefully a straight forward restoration
