Greetings from cold Sweden!
.
you are right! December 13 is the shortest day of the year, but now it gets brighter every day that passes. I live so far south you can come in Sweden so our days is about 8 hours light but in the north it is dark all day, do not understand how they cope...Farmer wrote:Thanks friends, and a merry Christmas from us too.
In Sydney we have the longest day of the year, about 14 hours worth. But its noticeably shorter than at home. I guess in Sweeden the days are very short, and cold would be nice for all the traditions of Christmas. Fortunately we have cool conditions predicted, (high 20's) so should be good for the big roast!
Love and Bellett fun to all!
Cheers, Matt.
I dont know how you stand it mate! Sydney was 25 degrees and not so humid down on the coast. Real nice, mostly just sat and ate and drank and talked and watched movies. After Church on the day, pressies opened and I got me a shiny new tension wrench. Sweet! And 54 episodes of the classic 60s series of Homicide. Lots of street scenes, but no Belletts in the first 4, but so many long lost vehicles like Renault R8, flouride, Triumph TR4, Zephyrs, etc. The cops drive Studebaker Cruisers, shiny and new. First episode was Oct 64, so Belletts were just out. Looking forward to working through all those episodes! Gotta love the holidays!CQGT wrote:Hope everyone had a good quiet xmas. Too hot in Rockhampton to eat much.....but lots to drink.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and looking forward to reading the Bellett.net forum
and assist in any way that I can.
Dave.
I think we prefer, generally speaking, a '+' sign in front of our Temps !!!
