Re: Latest offerings on eBay
As a point of interest for anyone considering the twin SU manifold (and it seems there are at least 2 people keen so far)
It is for a 1500 iron head and suits H4 SU carbs as used on the 1950's MGA (HS4 SU carbs could be used but would need adapters as they mount on an angle)
H6 SU's (or HS6 SU's) like those on the Triumph's or Datto's (180B or 1600) won't fit it, totally different bolt pattern.
With that in mind you will also need to budget a minimum of $300-750 for used H4's (if you can find any that don't need rekitting - 2x H4 kits $275) or $1100-1500 for new ones.
But have a crack at bidding on 'em if your really keen........ cause ya know I will
(when is another one ever gonna come up??)

Re: Latest offerings on eBay
Those manifolds were available short & long - I have both & use the longer ones on my rally car for more torque . The GT carbs fit straight on . - Craig

Re: Latest offerings on eBay
I think the H4 SU's might be easier to track down but there's every chance others will already have them stashed away for that one day just incase. Here's ya chance boys and girls

Hi All
(2) sets 1600cc pistons
Standard and .020 oversize
Should be circlips rather than press fit
