Hey folks,
I'm getting close to giving up here.
I'm looking to run a 15" x 10+" wide rim, but I don't want the NSU to look like a monster truck so I need a really short tire over all.. like something around 22" tall.
Does anyone here know of any Japanese or Australian companies that pumps out wacky tire sizes?
Thanks!
Andrew

Ok.. believe it or not, I found it.
Avon has what I need.. so does Michelin apparently.

Couldn't be happier

You're seriously going to put 10"-wide wheels under an NSU? HUGE.

Do you mean huge = cool or huge = are you sure?dave wrote:You're seriously going to put 10"-wide wheels under an NSU? HUGE.
With the flares I am putting on, 10" appears to be more than do able. Depending on how I sort out the suspension (considering on going to coil overs).. it looks like I'd have room for even wider. But since rubber selection is terrible and 10" wide rubber is a heck of a lot for a small car, that's what it's going to be.. the tires are for 8.5 - 10" rims.. I'm not sure if I want a little bit of stretch there for looks.. the camber will be pretty big so I might go for a 10.5 or 11" rim.
Still working on the details

Yeah HUGE as in both HUGE and cool.
I don't think that would fly with the draconian Australian rego rules!
But you know the rules with things like wheels, power and lowered suspension - more is better!
