Yeah, thats a bit sad. Typical though, local product dealers loved to dump on Japanese cars back in the day. I suppose they could see how well built and equiped they were compared to stuff they were flogging.
And now you can buy an MU-X and Falcons are extinct.
And Toyota is the top selling brand month after month.
Which makes new Bellett buyers early adapters of the superior product.

This is an old newspaper ad from 1978 that I came across in some stuff almost 2 years ago and posted it elsewhere.....
Obviously since then its been shared far and wide with everyone thinking they've discovered something new.
