Wierd as! We drove an L-series Sube for 350,000 k's (9 years) It was a really, really good car. I would have liked a set of those badges! Motor started to use oil at 300,000, so we put in a turbo (Vortex) motor. Went real good, & averaged 35 mpg for 100,000 more k's, till I went into a ditch one morning. (sad)
So we bought the Forester, which used oil from new! Motor re-built under warranty at 120,000 k's. Now with 270,000 on the clock it's using 1 litre per 700 k's!!
