Thanks guys.

That makes it as clear as mud, no not really.
I had always thought the 64-66 cars were different to the 67-68 cars to the 69-73.
Thanks for the information.
A proper early 64 GT would be really nice to see here :)

Or maybe build a 66 Fastback from pieces that are left over from other cars :?

Cheers
Rob

greg, a GT into pre 65 racing in australia is easy.
has already been done, in the 1990's!

but why pre 65?
if youre talking group Nb stuff, the rules are very restrictive as they use the original 'appendix J' rule book, must be a genuine pre 65 car (ie: proven pre 65, not a variant from after 65), must be original specs, etc.
but if u were to go group Nc, which is 1965-72, the rules are far better for a few 'mods', as the regs are an amalgamation of the old 'production' and 'improved' rules from in the day.
only prob is that there is no approved specs for a Bellett of any kind in Nc, which is why i'm currently writing them, for a sedan tho.

and yes, i have a new race Bellett project to go with it too.... ;) ;)

give me a ring and i tell u what's what, coz dealing with CAMS over this stuff is a minefield, and 1 little slip up could mean disaster later as getting specs and regs changed is more hassle than it's worth sometimes!
