Thanks Oz. And to correct myself, the year was 1977.
I have some more good shots, but none are Isuzus (plenty of Datsuns, some Mitsis and even a Rotisserie to disturb Brett). I'm reluctant to clutter up the forum but if there is interest I could put them in the other cars section....

any jap racer from the day is good.
in fact, rally rotaries were the best thing to do with them....
coz they usually got wrapped around a nice big gum tree.... forever ridding the world of yet more of them....
