you might consider treating the inside of the panels to 'kill' or Neutralize that rust.
In the past I have used a Mollasses bath but a good auto paint shop might advise what to use.

.Before Welding In The Replacement Section I Had To Clean Things Up Within (Not Easy) I Seem To Cause More Damage Then Original Burning Out The Wafer Rust Sections Until The Metals Fuse & By The Time It's Painted I Hope To Have No Sign Of Any Rust Repair's.

...Dad & I Bought A Nibbler That Goes With Any Drill, The Metal Will Bend While Being Cut With The Nibbler & Also When Welding, So Alignment Is Needed, A Simple Metal Working Dolly & Hammer Will Tap Things Straight Again...

I'm getting it easy, my main involvement has been dismantling the car, Michael is doing all the body work, self teaching as he goes, not bad for someone who had never held a welder up to about two weeks ago, ambition and determination will get the project done, hope to eventually get involved in some of the club events.

.Dad & I Needed To Clean Out The Air-Compressor As I Put The Wrong Oil In It & Dad Had Not Released The Valve On The Bottom Of The Tank In 15 Years (It Was Quite Interesting To Say The Least).

.......Nor' Much Rust Here Either Yet There Is A Bulge Between The Inner Skin & The Outer Skin Where The Rust Is, The Rust Is Minor On The Visible Sides Of The Skin Yet The Two Inner Hidden Sides Will Be Whats Badly Rusted Thus The Bulge From Within, So I Am Thinking About Cutting The Lot Out & Replacing It With 2x 1mm Replacement Sections About The Size Of My Palm.......
