Liz and Greg.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Liz. Glad to hear that you'r on the mend.

Greg. Give her a gentle hug from me. Not like the football tackle you gave poor Lenore.

Please keep in high spirits. Thinking of you both. I know what your going through.

Hey man,

As you know, already sent my sentiments via SMS, but I'll put it out here too; let her know good luck from me and the other boys from SA who haven't heard yet (but will, inevitably).

I heard this via Facebook; there was a pic of the pranged car taken by the official photographer.

Now kids, I know all's fair in love and motorsport, but that's two Belletts in the last couple of weeks that have met an untimely end!

Contrary to what Dave 1968GT said.... cars can be replaced, but Belletts can't!

But yeah, the big thing in this is Liz's health going forward - sounds like she's moving in the right direction, although I'm sure she's going to be able to sense a cold front coming in about 2 hours before anyone else for some time....

Cheers,

Dave

Thank you for all your wonderful thoughts and prayers. I guess after something like this we realise a few things. That family is everything. Hug them each and everyday. That shopping on an I phone is slow but it can be done. And that a lot of rest will be needed and a road trip to everyone could be plausible thanks again.

This is a little off track, but do you know what I LOVE about November?

Every time I walk down the hallway to my bedroom I see my big brother Steve's smiling face looking back at me while he's cooking up a storm on a tear drop bbq.

Just keep that in mind Lizzie and know that we all love you (and Mr Orphanage too :D )

The things that happen when one hasn't visited Bellett.net for a while :o

Some of us know that split second when "oh shit, got that wrong and it's gonna hurt, BRACE, and hope to be breathing when the dust settles" feeling, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Thank Christ for roll cages, harnesses and Tough little Belletts (and their tough little owners).

Speedy recovery Lizzie. I'm sure you're giving her the attention she needs Greg.

Cheers, B.

Well a lot can happen in a short time. I am now at home.
Yep :)
Have to spend 4 weeks resting before the final tests to see how everything mended.
Have to use a wheelchair as my foot is still also hopeless.
Greg is trying to get a little more horsepower out of the chair , but he doesn't run very fast.
Thanks for your thoughts
One day at a time has become my saying

Yeah, great news Lizzy. Sounds like you're happy to be home, now it's time to catch up on those unwatched movies, read those car mag back-issues, build some bellett model kits, stuff like that.
The thing to watch is trying to do too much too soon, it will be tempting, but you gotta mend properly.
Glad you're making progress. One day at a time mate.

Cheers, Matt.
